Vice President of Marketing
& Client Services
Kaleo O Kalani (Hawaiian for “The Voice of Heaven”), was raised in his native homeland of Hawaii and spent most of his time in the ocean and on the beach. His Mother, owner and CEO of PDI, Betti Anders, RN, wanted to be able to spend more time raising him and left the hospital setting to join the Nurse Case Management industry and eventually, PDI was eventually born. You could say Kaleo has been with PDI even before it was actually established and even go as far to credit him for Betti’s inspiration. (Don’t get him on a roll, you never know what he may lay claim to)
Marketing and Client Services have been the main component of Kaleo’s career with a wide range of employers from Tom Watt Sales in the 3rd grade to Real Estate, including sales in Fashion as well a stint in the entertainment industry. College education was comprised of San Marcos College, Kapiolani College and Sierra College. Experience in the workers compensation industry includes Marketing and Client services for two Nurse Case Management Companies, a Dental WC company, several Investigation Companies and an MSA Company. He’s worked as a surveillance and statement investigator and started his own investigation company.
"I look to the future of PDI with great respect and hope fueled by a profoundly passionate desire to provide the industry’s highest standard of timely and appropriate care facilitated by the most talented and experienced clinical professionals in workers compensation."
Leah Williams, RN, CCM
Clinical Program Director
Leah was born and raised in the desert in Southern California moving to San Diego upon graduation from High School. Originally pursuing her education as a dental technician, Leah ultimately chose marriage and family. In 1976, she had the opportunity to work for Industrial Indemnity Company (later known as Fremont American Insurance) and was introduced to California Workers Compensation. That interest continued until 1986 when she was selected to be part of a pilot program with the Oregon State Workers Compensation system as a Rehabilitation Counselor.
In 1988, after the death of her husband, the VA offered Leah the opportunity to return to college for any selected educational choice. Her preference was for training in nursing and she ultimately chose to return to California for education and graduated in 1991. For a few years Leah explored the multiple areas of nursing available and did not find an area that interested her as much as Workers Compensation had in the past.
Living in the Bay Area in 1994, Leah had the opportunity to start work as a Nurse Case Manager and has since enjoyed this career field. Leah has been with Professional Dynamics since the beginning of 2007 as a Case Manager, and as Clinical Manager since 2015. "It is my pleasure and goal to provide the highest level of services to clients and injured workers."
