As the founder and former CEO of Professional Dynamics, Inc. (“PDI”), Betti brings over 40 years of clinical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to her team and clients and spearheaded the creation of innovative and cost-effective customized programs and services that are now the backbone of PDI.
A graduate of Loma Linda University, Betti first became involved in the managed care services industry in 1974, when she was hired as a Field Case Manager with Intracorp in Hawaii. Her early experiences included managing a team of over 40 nurses responsible for dealing with catastrophic cases within the Pacific Rim, including the Philippines and Indonesia.
Betti founded and incorporated PDI in Washington in 1981, and expanded the business to provide Nurse Case Management, Utilization Review, MPN Administration, triage/early intervention, prescription management, and a 24/7 First Report of Injury/Nurse Advice hotline.
Betti splits her time between California and Hawaii, where she served a full four-year term as a Board Member for Castle Medical Center in Kailua, Hawaii.

Kaleokalani (Hawaiian for “The Voice of Heaven”) was raised in his native homeland of Hawaii.
His experience in the workers compensation industry includes Marketing and Client Services for two nurse case management companies, a dental workers’ compensation company, several investigation companies and an MSA company. Kaleo believes strongly in “servant leadership,” which involves inspiring others, leading by example, and putting others first.

Heather serves as Executive Vice President at PDI, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight in partnership with the CEO and Owner. She oversees Utilization Review, Case Management, 24/7 Nurse Triage and Injury Reporting, the Medical Provider Network, Referral Intake, and Human Resources, helping build strong teams while ensuring exceptional client service.
Since joining PDI in 2006, Heather has played a key role in the company’s growth through operational leadership, process improvement, and employee development. Prior to PDI, she worked in Vocational Rehabilitation, developing expertise in client advocacy and workforce development.
Heather’s areas of expertise include executive leadership, operations, human resources, organizational development, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.
The PDI value that resonates most with Heather is Collaboration. She believes strong teams, open communication, and trust create better outcomes for employees and clients alike.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys exploring California’s foothills, visiting vintage shops, supporting small businesses, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Golden received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska . He is a certified Diplomate for the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Golden started with PDI as a utilization review physician reviewer in May 2022 and within a year was promoted to Medical Director in May of 2023.

Sarah has been with PDI for more than 22 years and has served as a Utilization Review Manager since 2008. A Licensed Vocational Nurse since 1986, she oversees compliance with state regulations and URAC standards while helping clients achieve safe and timely return-to-work outcomes.
Her nursing career includes leadership and clinical experience in psychiatric, medical-surgical, oncology, pediatric, case management, disease management, and utilization review settings.
The PDI value that resonates most with Sarah is reflected in founder Betti Anders’ belief that “there might be no greater act of service than kindness and empathy.” She believes Compassion in care is at the heart of every successful outcome.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, her eight grandchildren, her two dogs, and visiting Kauai with her husband whenever possible.

Katie is PDI’s Business Manager and Senior Accountant, bringing more than 20 years of accounting experience and supporting PDI since 2018. She’s a Northern California native and a Chico State graduate. In her role, Katie oversees daily business operations, financial reporting, billing, invoicing, reconciliations, accounting controls, and operational support for the organization. She’s an expert in accounting operations, financial reporting, business operations, and process improvement.
The PDI value that resonates most with Katie is Integrity. She believes honesty, ethics, and compassion are essential to supporting the people PDI serves and is proud to support the nurses and physicians who help injured workers recover and regain their independence.
Outside of work, she enjoys sewing, painting, baking, camping, fishing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors with her family.

Leah serves as PDI’s Business Development Director, leading business growth through strategic partnerships, client relationships, and new business development. She serves as the primary contact for assigned clients, coordinates stewardship meetings, and collaborates with the executive team to strengthen client partnerships.
With 25 years of workers’ compensation experience, Leah has spent 20 of those years as both a claims adjuster and in medical management sales, providing a well-rounded understanding of client needs.
The PDI value that resonates most with Leah is Collaboration. She enjoys partnering with clients to develop programs that support employee recovery and return-to-work success. Hearing positive feedback about PDI’s nurses is what motivates her most.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, cheering on the San Francisco Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, cooking for family and friends, and trying great food wherever she goes.
